AGM !!IMPORTANT!!
We will be holding our AGM on the 23rd of June, which is in 2 weeks time. It is imperative that the AGM occurs on this date, so we would like to see as many people attend as is possible. As with all AGMs we need some actions to be taken in preparation;

  1. Request Nominations
    The following commitee positions are avaliable; President, Treasurer, Training Officer, Events Coordinators, Newsletter Editor/Webmaster, and Secretary.

    Currently we have received 2 nominations for President, 1 nomination for Treasurer, 2 nominations for T.O, 1 nomination for Webmaster, and 1 nomination for Secretary.

    If you wish to nominate someone please email the Webmaster.

  2. Agenda Items
    If you have any issues you would like to see raised at the AGM please submit your agenda item to the Webmaster ASAP. The cut off date for this is June 16th, with NO exceptions.

  3. Attendance
    If you are unable to attend the AGM please send you proxy votes on NVG Inc matters to the Webmaster. You can review the matters in hard copy at training next week, otherwise let the Webmaster know and you will be sent a copy via email.

  4. Start Time
    please note that the AGM will start at 7:30 PM SHARP! If you are late you may miss out on important information and votes.

Kildare College
Kildare College have invited us to perform a short demonstration for them on the 15th of June. We have previously done events like this for various schools and the kids seem to love it. Please note that this will be taking place during the school day. If you are interested please see Michael for details.

Farm Day
Although I was not personally at Farm Day, I have been told that it was a great success. When a report is available it will go out in the Events section as always.

Internet Adventures
The Viking Answer Lady is an excellent research site, it contains numerous articles on many viking subjects which are informative, thorough, and extensively referenced. If you have not had a look at the articles on this site I recommend that you give it a visit, especially if you are new to Vikings.
